Tomorrow, tomorrow, there's always tomorrow :)

I have been soooo behind with the blog. I know. I am over a week now. Look for a multiple post update tomorrow. There will be one post for each day. Most of them are all written, I just need to put in the pics. Sorry! Life has been too busy.

Happy Easter!!!

Yesterday we decided that we needed to dye some eggs, and Caden had a blast! I was especially thrilled when he wanted to eat them after. My kids love them some eggs!
Look at those skills.
Lilli colored the egg with the crayon before dyeing it.

Caden LOVED dipping the eggs.
Sometimes he checked the eggs too often :)
Adding some stickers after the egg was dyed.
Checking out their master pieces.
Our family eggs
Time to sample the eggs.
"This egg is soooo goooood..."
This morning started out with the kiddos checking out their baskets before we headed off to church. They were both pretty excited. Lilli was just as excited to see raisins in her Easter basket as candy. She busted open one of the boxes right away.

After church we came back and looked for the eggs that the Easter bunny hid around the house. The Easter bunny left them some quarters in the eggs. That was very smart of him since they each received a piggy bank in their baskets. Here are some pics:
Caden found his basket in the Cozy Coupe.

Lilli digs right in!
Caden finds a couple of the eggs before going to church.
We headed to Grandma and Bumpah's for lunch with the family. Caden was super excited to see Andrew, and he had an added bonus of getting to play with Adin, too. The kids were spoiled beyond belief with their baskets from Grandma and Bumpah, Aunt Cara and Uncle Jordon, and also Aunt Samantha and Uncle Danny. I don't think it would be possible for them to eat all of that candy in a year!

Lilli loves the bunny and net from Aunt Cara and Uncle Jordon.
This was the first year we had an Easter egg hunt. The kids LOVED it!!!

Lilli did a pretty good job!
Here's a shot with both kids in action.
Caden was all over that yard looking for his blue eggs.
Lilli with her piggies blowing in the wind :)
I know she isn't smiling, but she still looks so pretty.
Caden checking out his loot.
He was pretty excited about the gummy carrot. This is about two seconds before he ate it :)
It was a very wonderful day. The weather was sunny and the kids had a great time.

The Zoo and more time with Amma and Ampa

This morning I had a great time going to Aunt Chris' Jazzercise class. It was a good workout. I love the classes because of the variety of music, plus it always just feels like it is having fun and not working out.

After the workout we met up with Aunt Anna and Grammie at Five Guys. Not a very Weight Watchers friendly choice, but it was good. If anyone wants to know what the healthiest thing on their menu is, go with the grilled cheese...shockingly. They also have a veggie sandwich, but it isn't a Bocca burger or anything. It is just whatever veggies they have (lettuce, peppers...) on the bun. No thanks. At least the food gave me enough energy to walk through the zoo, which is where we headed after lunch.

The temperature was only in the high 40's, but it was still very pleasant. The kids got to see quite a few animals, some of the exhibits were closed, but they still had a good time. Here are some pics:

We rented a wagon to use instead of the stroller.
Surviving the Arctic! Brrr...
Lilli and Grammie look at the monkeys. Well, Grammie did at least.
Wheee!!!
Mr. Joe Cool Caden
That night we went back to Amma and Ampa's to have an early Easter celebration with the kiddos. We kicked it off with dinner from Chipotle's. YUM! I love it there. The kids were, of course, spoiled. Here are some highlights:
Lilli tries to carry her Easter basket.
Amma helps Lilli with the basket.
Caden tries out his cool bubble blowing lawn mower.
As a side note about the mower, Lilli LOVED it, too. So Amma and Ampa ended up going back to the store that night and getting Lilli a mower, too :)  Here is a video with the mower:

Wildwood and visiting with more family

After lunch (which was at Potbelly- I was THRILLED to see that Toledo has one!!!) with Aunt Ann and Grammie, we headed to Wildwood with Grammie. We decided to walk (or go exploring as Caden would say) before playing on the playground. Here are some pics from our exploring:

It was a beautiful day.
Caden enjoyed leading the way.
But not too far ahead...
Boo!
Crazy boy :)
So cute I can hardly stand it. Loving those piggies!
Wheeeee!!!!!
Caden said, "Me, too, Mama!"

We then played on the playground. Did you also notice that Lilli now allows me to put piggies in her hair? I am super excited about that.

That night we were happy to have Grandpa Philo, Aunt Diane, Jim, and JJ come over to Aunt Chris and Uncle Johnny's for lunch. We grilled some chicken. It was so nice to be able to see them all. We were also happy that Aunt Anna was able to come and visit along with Laura and CJ. Caden had a GREAT time playing with CJ and JJ. They played monster where they had to attack JJ. We had some foam weapons we bought in the dollar section at Target. I love that section...

Attacking the "monster."
Not really a fair fight :)

Grandpa and Jim. That is Meiko, Aunt Chris and Uncle Johnny's dog.
The kids were also spoiled with Easter baskets from the family. They got cute beach toys in a carrier, a stuffed animal, and super cute clothes. Plus Lilli got hair pretties :)

Look at the size of those baskets!

Caden tears into his.
Lilli got into the action, too.
We are so happy to have the time to visit with them :) I think the kids favorite part was that Aunt Diane made a Mickey and Minnie cake. She decorated it with rings. They LOVED it. Lilli and Aunt Diane bonded while Lilli enjoyed her slice:)

It was hard keeping Lilli back from ripping into the cake.
Yum...frosting...
Lilli's new best friend :)
