Early this morning I received a text from Tricia saying there was puking in her house, so I stayed home with the kiddos. I am very lucky that I am able to use an emergency sick day for instances just like this. The kids and I made the best of our unexpected day together. It started with my being able to drop Caden off at school:

Lilli and I hung out at the house until we had to pick up Caden. Then we came home and played with some Playdoh:

They ended up pretending to have a bakery:
Mom had a lot of dishes to wash later, but they had a lot of fun. It was a very fun day :)
