doctor's visit, still smiling, fun with no clothes

This morning Caden and I played a lot while Lilli snoozed. Here he is playing with his cool stacking toy he got for his birthday.

 

Caden had his 2 year check-up today. He is doing great. Here are his stats:

Height: 34 1/2 inches                           50th percentile
Weight: 26 pounds                               25th percentile
Head Circumference: 49.8 cm             80th percentile

It was funny because Caden was so talkative in the exam room. He pretended sneezed. I handed him a tissue, he wiped his nose and said "wipe." Then he looked at the tissue and said "yuck!" He then said "throw away." He threw it away and then said "tish (tissue) in." Dr. Johnson said he obviously has a great vocabulary. I almost laughed. Two weeks ago I don't think Caden would have said as much. He has had such a word explosion the last two weeks it is unbelievable. This is the first appointment where I haven't been worried about Caden's lack of "real" words. Now he talks all of the time. While Caden and I were at the doctor Lilli was at home with Grandma.

Lilli was super cute today in a little jean jumper. I didn't get the greatest pic, but here is what it looked like:

This evening Caden spilled milk down the front of shirt and overalls. I stripped him down and threw his clothes in the washer right away. He decided he wasn't going to get dressed. But that didn't stop him. Look at all he could still do while only rocking a diaper:

He can still get food out of his refrigerator...

He can make phone calls...

 He can take a spin in his car... He is quite talented.

He is also liking to have close up pics of his face. He is just so cute I can hardly stand it!!!
