A lot has happened since I last posted. One thing is that we have been working on potty training with Caden. At his 18 month check we asked if it was too early to start trying. They said that since he isn't afraid of the toilet, and the fact that he is telling us when he needs to be changed by grabbing his diaper, we can go ahead and try. I figure now that summer is here we can really start trying. He is a pic of him sitting for a bit. His favorite part is to flush the toilet.

Memorial Day weekend Ryan and I headed to New York City. We had a great time, but we shocked by how much everything costs. Of course everyone told us it is very expensive, but you don't really understand until you are there. We had a great time. Our hotel was within walking distance of Times Square. We arrived at our hotel on Saturday around 12:30 pm and flew back Monday. If we go again we will definitely stay for at least three days.
Here is the run-down of what we did. First we walked around Times Square:

We then went to Rockerfeller Plaza. Here is Radio City Music Hall:

Okay, so it was only a cut-out. Oh well.
We then went to the Top of the Rock. It was a beautiful view from atop Rockerfeller Center. This was how I got a view of Central Park. We wanted to go there, but there just wasn't enough time.
We ended Sunday night by seeing the musical "A Little Night Music." It is a musical starring Angela Lansbury and Catherine Zeta-Jones (who wasn't in the Sunday night performance).

It was very good. Once the musical ended we headed to find something to eat for dinner. It is so weird that both nights we ate around 10:15 pm, but the restaurants were filled with many other people eating just as late.
All in all we had a great time.
This past weekend was a lot of fun as well. Mindi and the girls came to visit from Wednesday night until Saturday afternoon. The kids had a lot of fun. We unfortunately did not get a ton of pics. I will have to get some more from Mindi. Here is a cute shot of all three kids hanging out on the couch.
Caden was just enthralled with Ella. He thought she was pretty cool.
Well, I think I caught everyone up for now!
Have a great week!
