Tomorrow is the big day!

Today is the day before we meet the little one. Caden and I have had a great day so far. He woke up earlier than normal, so I snuggled into bed with him and we watched Mickey Mouse. We had a great big breakfast together and then we bummed around. We went to the Menomonie Zoo around 10 am. The weather was just perfect. He had more fun pushing the stroller than he had interest in the animals.


We then met Daddy for lunch. He was really in a Daddy mood today. He was constantly asking for him. Pretty cute. Right now he is napping. After he wakes up I figure we have some bubbles to blow, the slide to play on, and the plants to water. He LOVES watering the plants. Most of the time he waters himself just as much as the plants, but he still has fun.

My mom gets into town tonight. Danny and Sam will be picking her up from Appleton at 6:45 pm. I plan to make spaghetti for dinner since that can hold on the stove top for as long as it needs to.

Tomorrow morning Ryan and I will be heading to the hospital at 7:30 am. My c-section is now at 9 am. It was moved from 7:30 am. I thought it would be nice to not have to get up quite as early, so the hour and a half later is nice.

I still have a few things I would like to do today. So far I have:

1. Ordered new checks
2. Scheduled Caden's 2 year appointment
3. Purchased a new battery charger for our camera (We have no idea where our original one is!)

I still want to:

1. Put all of my scrapping items in the basement office
2. Finish the last half of Caden's birthday invitations
3. Take a family picture of the three of us since today will be the last day it will only be the three of us.
4. Print address labels for the birth announcements
5. Print return address labels for the birth announcements

There are a few other things I need to do in there as well, but anything that doesn't get done...doesn't get done!

I will most likely be in the hospital until Sunday. My insurance will allow me to stay until Monday, but I think I will come home on Sunday if I am feeling up to it. We will be bringing the computer to the hospital, so hopefully I will be able to update the blog while we are there. If not, you can always check Facebook.

Ryan sent this picture to me while I was out of town for CHA. I love this pic!!!

I quickly discovered that Caden is a fan of the mini soft pretzels from the Pretzel Maker in the mall.

Last week Caden and I ran into Shopko to get something and he saw this Pooh in the crane game. $5.50 later...I won the Pooh. As you can see, he is pretty big, and Caden was REALLY excited. I would have spent $20 trying to win that toy for him.

I just think this pic is hilarious! Caden loves corn, and we found out he also loves eating it right off of the cob. Notice there is even corn on his forehead. Messy...but extremely cute!

Frantic Scramble!

Since we officially have one week until the little one comes, I have been trying to tie up all loose ends. I plan to put a large update on here tomorrow that will be very photo heavy. In the meantime, I am going to just leave you with a profile pic of me that Ryan took this morning. As you can probably tell from the photo...I am ready. Not the most flattering shot, but you get to see the lovely baby bump...or mountain. Not sure at this point what to call it. :)
