{church musical practice + Hawaiian gifts}

Tonight Caden and I spent some time at church. The children's musical is this Sunday, so the kids needed to get in some practice time. Here is one pic:
Check out this singing:
Caden did a great job! It was fun watching the kids. He has another practice this Saturday.

While we were at church, Lilli was at home with Aunt Lexie. This was the first time the kids got to see her since her trip to Hawaii. Of course she brought the kids back some goodies. Lilli got a little hula girl:
Caden got poi. What are poi? Well let me tell you. Wikipedia explains: Poi refers to both a style of performing art and the equipment used for engaging in poi performance. As a performance art, poi involves swinging tethered weights through a variety of rhythmical and geometric patterns.

Aunt Lexie showed him some videos of how the Hawaiian people swing the poi. He got right into practicing:
Not too bad!

The kiddos were very grateful for their gifts:

Until later!
